This site is dedicated to the memory of William Leith.

Bill Leith died on the 3rd March 2009 aged 80. He served in the RAF in the 1940s-50s, just missing WW11, although he was a cadet at the end of the war. He was sent to Palestine, Aden and Korea. Was captured in the latter and a prisoner for 18 months. After leaving the service he became a Commercial and Aerial photographer in London, he started his own company with 2 others. One of the clients was St Dunstans for whom he had a great respect and was an avid supporter. He was a very fit man, running marathons and completed the London Marathon at the age of 78. He had 5 sons.
